ChristianaCare Primary Care at Concord Health Center is currently seeking a motivated, team player who is self-driven in their career as a Medical Assistant.
Primary Care at Concord Health Center is a growing family practice located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Primary Care at Concord is home to a dynamic team of 3 physicians, 3 physician assistants, 2 registered nurses, 5 medical assistants and one office assistant. Primary Care at Concord Health Center sees an average of 100+ patients daily, ranging in ages from neonates to geriatrics. You will be one of a team of five medical assistants in this role.

Work Schedule:
- Monday from 7am to 7pm
- Tuesday through Thursday from 7am to 6pm
- Friday from 7am to 4:30pm
Duties / Responsibilities:
As a medical assistant you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
